Your School Didn't Just List Itself. It opened a door for you.
When a campus affiliates with SCLA Academy, it means an administrator at your institution has reviewed the program and made it available to enrolled students. That's not a small thing. It means your school believes SCLA Academy is worth your time and investment.
Affiliation also means your campus has a designated representative — a faculty or staff member who serves as your point of contact for questions about the program, the Live Academy Kickoff, and getting started. They're not managing your experience day to day, but they're there when you need a trusted connection between your institution and SCLA.
Access is confirmed through your university email address. This keeps the program connected to your institution and ensures that the students accessing SCLA Academy are the students your campus intended to reach.
Institutional Endorsement
Your campus reviewed and approved SCLA Academy before making it available to you.
Campus Representative
A designated faculty or staff member at your institution is your point of contact for program questions.
University Email Access
Registration requires your university email address — your verification that you're an enrolled student at a participating campus.
A Trusted Connection Between Your School and SCLA
The campus representative role is intentionally light-touch. They are not managing your day-to-day experience in the platform — that's handled by the SCLA team. They are the bridge between your institution and the program, and the person to reach if you have questions that go beyond what our FAQ covers.
- Serving as the institutional point of contact for SCLA Academy at your campus
- Sharing Live Academy Kickoff details and program information with enrolled students
- Providing advisor recommendations for students pursuing Honor Society eligibility
Your First Session Sets Everything Up
Every new Academy member is invited to a live orientation hosted by the SCLA team.
In the kickoff you'll get a full walkthrough of the platform, connect with other students from campuses across the country, meet your campus representative, and leave knowing exactly how to make your membership work for you from day one.
Your campus representative will share the next kickoff date when you activate. If you can't make a live session, a recorded version is available in your dashboard within 24 hours.
- Full platform walkthrough with the SCLA team
- Introduction to your campus representative
- Peer connections with students from participating campuses nationwide
- Clear next steps for micro-internships, career tools, and learning programs
We're Adding New Campuses Every Month
If your campus isn't listed yet, you can request access directly. We'll reach out to the appropriate administrator at your institution and keep you updated on the timeline. Many campuses are added within a few weeks of a student request.
