What's the Difference?

Recognition and Preparation. Both matter.

The SCLA Honor Society is invitation-only. It recognizes students who have demonstrated academic excellence: a minimum GPA of 3.0, though some institutions set the bar even higher. Membership includes national recognition, personal development, and Career Accelerator, SCLA's most advanced level of career preparation, plus lifetime access to Academy.

SCLA Academy exists because every student deserves real career preparation, not just the ones who already have a 3.0. It's open enrollment: any student at a participating school can join. Academy is built around Career Foundations, real career tools and academic support to help you compete for internships, jobs, and graduate programs.

Academy gives every student a strong start. Honor Society builds on that with recognition, personal development, and our most advanced career tools.

If your GPA crosses your institution's threshold while you're in Academy, you've earned your Honor Society invitation. Upload your official GPA documentation to verify it, pay the difference between what you've already paid and the $95 Honor Society fee, and you're in.
